As you already know, the game will now feature Hypothetical Stages (also known as 'What-if' scenarios in the Japanese Version). These stages will feature events and special cutscenes. So, I have compiled this guide on how to unlock these 'Star' objectives.

Stage 1 - Yellow Turban Rebellion
*Difficulty of getting the star objective = 1/5
*Objectives
1.Assisting the peasants will affect the Battle of Fan Castle
2.Helping the people will enable Zhang Jiao to join the battle at Hulao Gate (He will also appear in Fan Castle Hypothetical Branch).

TIP - At the end of the stage, if done correctly, Liu Bei will have a longer conversation with Zhang Jiao and he will survive the battle. The location of the peasant will be random, but they will be inside one of the 3 bases.
Stage 3 - Defense of Xu Provice
*Difficulty of getting the star objective = 4/5
*Objectives
1. Defeating all of the withdrawing enemies will affect the Battle of Fan Castle.

TIP - You must defeat them AFTER Guo Jia gives the order. This stage is pretty tricky to complete. Start the stage by completing the missions and making sure that the fire troops doesnt enter the castle. If you pick Liu Bei, make sure you go to where Zhang Fei is and as soon as Guo Jia arrives, after a couple of minutes, he will tell his reinforcements to retreat. You need to be on horseback and have atl east 2 musou bars to increase the speed of your horse. You need to defeat all of the reinforcements, it doesnt matter which order you defeat them
Stage 6 - Battle of Chibi

*Objectives
1.Finding Xu Shu after the fire attack will affect the Battle of Fan Castle.
2. Finding Xu Shu after the fire attack will enable him to appear in Chengdu
TIP - After the fire attack and Cao Cao starts to retreat, Xu Shu will appear in the Northern part of the map. Liu Bei will start talking about him and being worried about his safety. For an extra dialogue use Zhuge Liang.
Stage 3 - Defense of Xu Provice

1. Preventing the assassination of Pang Tong will affect the Battle of Fan Castle.
2. Preventing the assassination of Pang Tong will enable him to appear in Mt. Dingjun.
TIP - Play as Pang Tong, he will have an extra dialogue, talking about his survival and he will be using Liu Bei's Hex Mark Horse, which has the base speed of 220 which you can use to breeze around the map!. At the start of the battle, if you pick Pang Tong, he will have his own mission to infiltrate Luo Castle, ignore that mission and find the ladder that leads up to a small cliff, there you can find Zhang Ren, kill him to prevent Pang Tong's assassination. Ive marked the location on the map.

Stage 9 - Battle of Fan Castle
*Difficulty of getting the star objective = 0/5
*Objectives
1. Completing all of the conditions will open up the hypothetical route.
TIP - This means you have to complete all star objectives till you reach Fan Castle. Xu Shu will then arrive and speak to Guan Yu about having plans. Speak to Xu Shu to open the Hypothetical Route.
Stage 12 - Battle of Jieting
*Difficulty of getting the star objective = 3/5
*Objectives
1. Rescuing Ma Su before he is trapped will enable the stage 'Battle of Chencang' to be unlocked.
TIP - The main strategy for this stage is to defeat the enemy officers as fast as you can. There seems to be a time limit where Ma Su gets surrounded by Zhang He and Guo Huai. I suggest using Yue Ying and making sure that she is over level 26 so she can have the whirlwind ability on her weapon. Just simply defeat the officers quickly while following the orders of Zhuge Liang.
TIP 2 [Credit to Liu Bei 7]
Do not trigger Cao Hong's ambush before saving Liao Hua, Gao Xiang, and Xiang Lang. Here's how you should progress:
* Run out of the camp and beat Yan Rou.
* Run over to the bridge and get ambushed by Cao Zhen and Sun Li. Beat them.
* Run to the ballistas and destroy them and defeat Xin Pi.
* Rescue Liao Hua, Gao Xiang and Xiang Lang. Around this time you should hear Zhang He say something along the lines of "They are trying to rescue their friends on the mountain. I'll do something about that." And he will move in to attack Ma Su.
* Get ambushed by Cao Hong. Defeat him.
* Charge up the hill and defeat Cao Xiu and Zhang He who should be fighting Ma Su.
Stage 12 X - Battle of Chencang
*Difficulty of getting star objective = 4/5
*Objectives
1. Breaking through the ambush troops within Chencang Castle will determine the safety of Zhang Bao.
TIP - Probably one of the trickiest objectives to complete. The first playthrough will be hard because of the amount of missions you have to complete and not knowing how to prevent the death of Zhang Bao. I suggest using Zhang Bao and just follow the orders of Zhuge Liang/Ma Su. After completing the missions, there should be a catapult at the middle of the map, which you can use to destroy the main castle gates. After destroying the gate, DO NOT go off the catapult and make sure you DO NOT enter the main entrance to the enemy base, there will be an ambush which will trigger Zhang Bao's death after completing the stage, so follow this map and carry on at this part of the map.

Stage 9 - Battle of Fan Castle

TIP - This means you have to complete all star objectives till you reach Fan Castle. Xu Shu will then arrive and speak to Guan Yu about having plans. Speak to Xu Shu to open the Hypothetical Route.
Stage 12 - Battle of Jieting

After destroying the gate, DO NOT go off the catapult and make sure you DO NOT enter the main entrance to the enemy base, there will be an ambush which will trigger Zhang Bao's death after completing the stage, so follow this map and carry on at this part of the map.
There should be a wall which have noticeable cracks which you can destroy using the catapult. Enter the secret passage and there should be 2 small bases between the main entrance of the enemy base, go there an uncover the ambush. Defeat the officers.
Stage 13 - Battle of Wuzhang Plains
*Difficulty of getting the star objective = 5/5
*Objective
1. Successfully preventing the enemy from summoning reinforcements will trigger a conversation with Zhuge Liang.
TIP - One of the hardest objectives to complete during the first playthrough. I suggest using Wei Yan as his side mission will lead you to one of the messengers. Simply follow his side missions and defeat officers along the way. Zhuge Liang will give orders to attack and taunt Sima Yi, for Wei Yan's mission, he will attack Guo Huai. Defeat him.
After this, Zhuge Liang will tell the troops to retreat, DO NOT FOLLOW HIS INSTRUCTIONS. Make sure you stay where you are because Sima Yi will tell his force to advance, defeat them and by doing so will make the messengers to appear. You will need to be on horseback if you want to complete this objective and use your musou attack to increase the speed of the horse. Defeating both messengers will enable a longer cutscene with Zhuge Liang at the end of the stage.
Stage 10 X - Battle of Lukou
*Difficulty of getting the star objective = 2/5
*Objective
1. Overcoming Lu Xun and Lu Meng's plot will cause the two of them to arrive at Chang'an as reinforcements.
TIP - Pretty easy to complete. Just follow Zhuge Liang's orders and make sure that you encircle Lu Meng within 2minutes of the order being given, if you failed Lu Meng will deploy his ballistas, you will fail the mission.
Stage 11 X -Ambush at Chang'an
*Difficulty of getting star objective = 2/5
*Objective
1. Quickly defeating Xiahou Mao will enable the stage 'Pacification of Nanzhong' to be unlocked.
TIP - Pretty easy to complete, just follow the flow of the battle but as soon as you set up the makeshift bridge, rush to Xiahou Mao and defeat him before Guo Jia arrives.
Stage 11 X2 - Pacification of Nanzhong
*Difficulty of getting star objective = 2/5
*Objectives
1. Defeating Zhurong three times will enable her to arrive during the stage 'Invasion of Luoyang' as reinforcements.
TIP - Pretty easy to complete. Just follow the flow of the battle and after defeating Meng Huo 3 times, Zhurong should appear at the southern part of the map (there will be rock slides here) defeat her. She will appear again when you reaches their main camp and appearing again for the final time when fighting Meng Huo in their main camp.
WU
Stage 1 - Battle of Xiangyang
*Difficulty of getting star objective = 2/5
*Objectives
1. Defeating Lu Gong before he retreats will affect the Battle of Hefei.
2. Defeating Lu Gong before he can withdraw will enable the stage 'Battle of Liang Province' to be unlocked.
3. Defeating Lu Gong before he can withdraw will enable Sun Jian to appear in Wujun.
TIP - You can play as any of the 3 Sun kids. Just make sure you follow the missions correctly. When done, Sun Jian will ask you to take the right side path of the map so you can infiltrate the caste, by doing so Lu Gong will talk and he will start to retreat. Get on a horse, rush and defeat him.
Stage 3 - The Little Conqueror in Peril
*Difficulty of getting star objective = 1/5
*Objective
1. Defeating Xiahou dun and Gan Ji will enable the stage 'Defeat Gan Ji' to be unlocked.
TIP - I suggest using Sun Quan as he will have a side mission which is near Xiahou Dun. Start the stage and follow every single mission. When you exit the forest, Sun Ce will advance to the right side path of the map with Zhou Yu. Sun Quan will stay with Zhou Tai to act as bait and to distract other officers from attacking Sun Ce. After 5 minutes or so, Xiahou Dun will appear in the northern castle. Defeat Cao Ren to open the gates.
Defeat Xiahou Dun and Gan Ji will appear straight away. Finish the stage and Sun Ce will have a longer cutscene.
Stage 3 X - Defeat Gan Ji
*Difficulty of getting star objective = 2/5
*Objective
1. Cutting off the source of sorcery and saving Sun Ce will affect the Battle of Hefei.
TIP - Use Da Qiao or Zhou Yu, this will enable you to fight the phantoms of Xiao Qiao and Sun Jian. Start the stage by following the orders of Zhou Yu. After completing all of the missions, Gan Ji will appear at the northern part of the map then a fire attack will trigger.
After that just follow this map to locate the location of the magic cauldron. Destroy to weaken Gan Ji.
Stage 5 - Battle of Nanjun
*Difficulty of getting star objective = 4/5
*Objectives
1. Successfully completing the decoy strategy will affect the Battle of Hefei.
2. Ensuring the success of the decoy strategy will enable Zhou Yu to appear in Jing Provice.
TIP - Use Zhou Yu. This is pretty tricky so pay attention to Lu Su/ Lu Meng, failing to do so will cause the death of Zhou Yu.
In the beginning of the stage, Zhou Yu will talk about rescuing Gan Ning, follow path which will lead to him, halfway through that path, officers will start attacking your base, ignore Gan Ning for a while, hes strong enough to survive so, intercept and defeat them before they enter your main camp. Go to Gan Ning and save him, there should be a cutscene where Zhou Yu gets shot and this cant be avoided.
Lu Su and Lu Meng will then start talking about a decoy plan and Zhou Yu being the main bait. Advance to where the red square is on the map.
You will stay here for about 2-3 minutes and Lu Su/Lu Meng will instruct you to defeat the officers which attack you while they encirle the map to prepare the ambush. When done, Li Dian will attack Zhou Yu and Lu Su/ Lu Meng will jump down the mountain path and ambush them. Defeat Li Dian to trigger the second part of the mission.
Follow the path I have drawn on the map. Lu Su/Lu Meng will start advancing again but this time their paths will be blocked because of Yue Jin. You will have to defeat the base captain that guards this gigantic tower then destroy it. This should trigger the arrival of Zhang He and Xiahou Yuan. Enter the base which is marked on the map and defeat the officer inside. Zhou Yu will then taunt Zhang He and Xiahou Yuan which will force them to move and Yue Jin too. Defeat them while they are inside the small garrison.
If you follow the missions correctly, you will unlock the star!
Stage 6 - Battle of Jing Province
*Difficulty of getting star objective = 2/5
*Objective
1. Leading Lu Su to Jing Province Castle will affect the Battle of Hefei
2. Leading Lu Su to Jing Province Castle will enable him to appear in Hefei.
TIP - Play as Lu Su. This is a pretty easy objective to complete. Just simply follow the orders of Lu Su and lead him to the castle.
Stage 7 - Battle of Hefei
*Difficulty of getting star objective = 0/5
*Objectives
1. Completing all of the conditions will open up the hypothetical route.
TIP - This means you have to complete all star objectives till you reach Hefei. Zhou Yu will then appear and join the conversation with Lu Su. Speak to Zhou Yu to open the Hypothetical Route.
Stage 9 - Battle of Fan Castle
*Difficulty of getting star objective = 4/5
*Objective
1. Winning the battle and ensuring Lu Meng is unharmed will enable him to appear in Yiling.
TIP - You must pick Lu Meng in this battle, somehow the AI controlled one is a dumbass and this will cause you to fail the missions.
At the start of the battle 2 Shu officers will start retreating, make sure you defeat them straightaway by doing so, this will make them defect to your side which can provide and show you the safe entry to Guan Yu's camp.
Follow all of the missions correctly and after doing them Fushi Ren will start talking about entering the northern part of the entrance to Guan Yu's camp. If you enter the southern part of the base, the arbalests will shoot Lu Meng and he will die at the end of the stage.
Stage 10 - Battle of Yiling
*Difficulty of getting star objective = 3/5
*Objectives
1. Defeating Shamoke while Gan Ning is still alive will enable the stage 'Battle of Guangling' to be unlocked.
2. Defeating Shamoke while Gan Ning is still alive will enable Gan Ning to appear in Guangling.
TIP - I suggest using Ling Tong as his side missions will have interactions will Gan Ning. At the beginning of the battle, just follow Lu Xun's intructions. After capturing the bases, Zhang Bao and Guan Xing will charge at you, defeat them. With this, Gan Ning will start to wander around the map, doing his own thing. Make sure you follow him because he will be trapped inside a small base.
Stage 8 X - Persuit at Shouchun
*Difficulty of getting star objective = 2/5
*Objective
1. Defeating Zhang Liao before Ding Feng can be isolated will enable Ding Feng to appear in Jiang Xia.
TIP - As soon as the battle start, make sure you go where Ding Feng is. Just follow him around and defeat the officers around the castle. After that, Jia Xu will start attacking Sun Quan. IGNORE THE MISSION.
Stay around the vicinity of the castle and someone will talk about suspicious activity near the castle. This will prompt the enemy officers on the cliff near the castle to jump down. Defeat them and this will cause Zhang Liao to open the gates of the castle. Defeat him.
Stage 9 X - Defence of Jiangxia
*Difficulty of getting star objective = 2/5
*Objective
1. Protecting the defensive lines and winning the battle will enable the stage 'Assault at Xinye' to be unlocked.
TIP - In the beginning of the stage, you will notice that the map isnt completed, so dont worry about that. Just carry on with the missions and defeat Guan Yu and Zhang Fei, after this a cutscene should happen. This will trigger the arrival of Wang Yi and the second part of the map to appear, defeat Wang Yi. This will then make Xu Huang appear, make sure you defend the 2 bases near your camp, its okay if one of them gets captured but if both are then you fail it.
Stage 9 X2 - Assault at Xinye
*Difficulty of getting star objective = 2/5
*Objective
1. Quickly breaking through the battlefield will enable Xiao Qiao to appear in Runan.
TIP - A very easy battle, just defeat all of the officers quickly. For a bonus random cutscene, pick Xiao Qiao and this will trigger the event with the panda, lions and wolves.
WEI
Stage 1 - Escape from Luoyang
*Difficulty of getting star objective = 5/5 (First playthrough) 2/5 (Second playthrough)
*Objective
1. Defeating Lu Bu without retreating will change Lu Bu's voice lines spoken at Hulao Gate
TIP - You wont be able to defeat Lu Bu in your first attempt of this stage, you will be able to do so when your characters are much more stronger and has powerful weapons. He is extremely strong even though on Beginner mode. When you play this stage for the second time, it will be useful if your weapon has the skill 'Cyclone' at least on +4 or +6, this can deal maximum damage from charge attacks, or if you have the skill 'Fury', you can use True Musou attack and deal fire damage and Lu Bu's lifebar will deplete slowly.
Stage 4 - Battle of Xu Province
*Difficulty of getting star objective = 3/5
*Objectives
1. Quickly defeating Tao Qian will enable the stage 'Battle of Puyang' to be unlocked.
TIP - Pretty tricky to unlock in the first playthrough. I suggest using Dian Wei as he has longer attack range. Start by following Guo Jia's instructions, this mean that you will have to destroy the Dragons that spews rocks. You can do this by acquiring the catapults which be highlighted in green. After that, advance quickly and Tao Qian will start to talk about his ambushes, defeat them and enter the castle. When you enter the castle, more ambushes will show up, so defeat them, after that Tao Qian will start retreating, get on a horse immediately (having 2 full musou bars will help increase the speed of your horse if you use musou attack while on it). Just follow the route i drew on the map.
Stage 6 - Battle of Wan Castle
*Difficulty of getting star objective = 3/5
*Objective
1. Rescuing Cao Ang and Cao Anmin will affect the Battle of Chibi
2. Failing to rescue Cao Ang and Cao Anmin will enable the stage 'Battle of Xiapi' to be unlocked.
3. Helping Dian Wei to survive will enable him to appear in Guandu and Chibi.
TIP - This stage will require 2 playthroughs and I suggest using Dian Wei on both of them. The first playthrough just follow the missions correctly, make sure you defeat most of the enemy officers and the unnamed ones, this will prevent the death of Dian Wei. When you reach the exit of the castle, check the Battlefield Info by pressing start and then find the location of Cao Ann and Cao Anmin. Rescue them by defeating the unnamed officers then exit the castle.
When you get out of the castle, Guo Jia will start talking about his plan and this involves capturing the 3 small bases on the left side of the map. Go inside them and defeat the hiding officers then hide inside until Yuan Shu comes as reinforcement, after that come out and defeat all of the reinforcements. At the end of the stage, Dian Wei should survive.
For the second playthrough, do everything the same but DO NOT save Cao An and Cao Angmin. Doing so will unlock the Battle of Xiapi.
Stage 8 - Battle of Mt. Bailang
*Difficulty of getting star objective = 3/5
*Objective
1. Enabling Guo Jia to escape safely will affect the Battle of Chibi
2. Helping Guo Jia to withdraw safely will enable him to appear in Xinye.
TIP - Pretty tricky to complete because of the amount of missions you have do to. Start the stage by capturing all the bases that are highlighted in green. After that Guo Jia will start talking about defeating the first Yuan brother. IGNORE THAT. Start following Guo Jia, basically babysitting him throughout the entire stage to prevent his death. He will start advancing to the right northern part of the map, here wolves will appear so make sure you defeat them as they deal quite alot of damage to him. Then ambushes and reinforcements will start appearing, defeat them too.
If you successfully prevented Guo Jia from dying, he will have a shorter cutscene at the end of the stage.
Stage 9 - Battle of Xinye
*Difficulty of getting star objective = 2/5
*Objective
1. Defeating Xu Shu before rescuing Cao Ren will affect the Battle of Chibi.
TIP -Just follow the battle and make sure you take the right gate when you enter the Eight Fold Gates, entering the wrong paths will cause ambushes and Cao Ren getting killed. Follow this map.
Basically, you have to defeat Xu Shu first before you encounter Cao Ren, you need to defeat him quick because Cao Ren will be surrounded by Zhao Yun and Guan Ping.
Stage 10 - Battle of Chibi
*Difficulty of getting star objective = 0/5
*Objective
1. Completing all of the conditions will open up the hypothetical route.
TIP - This means you have to complete all star objectives till you reach Chibi. Guo Jia will then appear and join the conversation and will start talking about how to prevent the fire from spreading. Speak to Guo Jia to open the Hypothetical Route.
Stage 13 - Battle of Mt. Dingjun
*Difficulty of getting star objective = 3/5
*Objective
1. Defeating Huang Zhong and helping Xiahou Yuan to survive will enable Xiahou Yuan to appear at Fan Castle.
TIP - I suggest using Xiahou Yuan because he will be the commander of this stage and he will have an extra dialogue will Huang Zhong. Just simply follow the missions at the start of the battle by defeating most of the officers that are attacking the main gate. After that Ma Dai, Zhang Fei and Zhao Yun will start to attack the main camp from the right side of the map. Defeat them.
After this make sure you are on a horse because Huang Zhong will appear at the northern left side of the map, you need to defeat him before he reaches Mt. Tiandang. If you do all the missions correctly, Xiahou Yuan will survive the stage and he will have a longer cutscene.
Stage 14 - Battle of Fan Castle
*Difficulty of getting star objective = 3/5
*Objective
1. Rescuing Pang De before he retreats will enable him to be present for the battle's victory.
TIP - Pretty annoying to complete because of the amount of missions you have to do. You basically need to defeat the officers quickly and when a soldier starts talking about the grieve situation of Pang De, rush to him and defeat all of the officers that are attacking him.
If you done everything right, he should have a conversation with Guan Yu at the end of the stage.
Stage 11 X - Campaign for Jian Ye
*Difficulty of getting star objective = 2/5
*Objective
1. Forcing five supporters to surrender will prevent enemy reinforcements from coming to Xu Chang.
TIP - Pretty easy to do, just defeat all of the enemy officers on the map. The Five supports will defect on your side after you deplete their life bar to half.
TIP - Also, prepare yourself for some funny typos and wrong dialogues!

Stage 4 - Coup d'etat
*Difficulty of getting star objective = 2/5
*Objective
1. Defeating Cao Shuang after defeating Cao Xun, Cao Yi and He Yan will enable the stage 'Xiahou Ba's Journey' to be unlocked.
TIP - Pretty easy to complete, just follow all of the missions and when Cao Shuang arrive at the southern part of the map, make sure you defeat the officers with him before you kill him.
Stage 4 X - Xiahou Ba's Journey
*Difficulty of getting star objective = 2/5
*Objective
1. Quickly defeating Jiang Wei will affect the Battle of Xu Chang.
2. Quickly defeating Jiang Wei will enable Xiahou Ba to appear at Tong Gate.
TIP - Another easy objective to complete, it doesnt matter which character you pick but as soon as you encounter Jiang Wei, defeat him within 2 minutes.
Stage 5 - East Gates Battle
*Difficulty of getting star objective = 3/5
*Objective
1. Helping all your allies escape alive will enable the stage 'Battle of New Hefei Castle' to be unlocked.
TIP - Doesnt matter which character you use in this stage, you will all end up with the same missions, which is to defeat every single officers and making sure that none of your allies die. Just be on horseback all the time as there will be quite alot of ambushes.
Stage 5 X - Battle of New Hefei Castle
*Difficulty of getting star objective = 3/5
*Objective
1. Protecting all of the gates will affect the Battle of Xu Chang.
2. Protecting all of the gates will enable Zhuge Dan to appear at Xu Chang.
TIP - Another easy mission and it doesnt matter which character you pick because you all have the same mission and the allied AI on this stage is quite good. If you pick Sima Shi, make sure you defeat the officers in the room where there are gigantic fans then start advancing south and defeat the officers that guards the ballistas. Basically, you have to follow the missions correctly.
Stage 6 - Battle of Mt. Tielong
*Difficulty of getting star objective = 3/5
*Objective
1. Successfully rescuing Guo Huai will affect the Battle of Xu Chang.
2. Successfully rescuing Guo Huai will enable him to appear during the rebellion by the two officers.
TIP - This is a pretty tricky stage to complete on your first playthrough. First defeat the officer 'Jiang Shu' when the gate open, then after that ignore the mission that comes after. Press start and go to the Battlefield Info and locate the officer called Li Jian, make sure you defeat him as he will steal the Wei uniform and retreat. After that Xingcai will dispatch the wooden oxen which is actually a ploy for a fire attack, destroy the wooden oxen and defeat Xingcai. Li Jian come back later and use the Wei uniform to pretend as one of the Wei officers and then kill Guo Huai. Here is a map to help.
Stage 7 - Guanqiu Jian & Wen Qin's Rebellion
*Difficulty of getting star objective = 4/5
*Objective
1. Defeating Wen Qin and his son last will affect the Battle of Xu Chang.
TIP - In this battle, you will have to ignore some missions. In the first mission, it doesnt matter which green indicator you go to, this will just trigger the appearance of Wen Yang, he will then start attacking your main camp so go back there. Then after defeating him, Sima Shi will start talking about a pincer attack, IGNORE THAT. There should be small mountain path at the left side of the map, take that route and defeat the officers there. Then Wu reinforcements will start appearing near the northern part of the map, defeat every single one of them. That will then trigger the appearance of Ding Feng and other Wu officers, defeat them and then you should see a cliff where you can jump down. Defeat all of the officers around that area EXCEPT Wen Qin/Yang and Guanqiu Jian. After defeating the officers outside the castle, approach Wen Yang and Sima Shi will have a conversation with him, let them finish the conversation first and then defeat Wen Qin first then Wen Yang. Here is a map to help you.
Stage 8 - Battle of Xuchang
*Difficulty of getting star objective = 0/5
*Objective
1. Completing all of the conditions will open up the hypothetical route.
TIP - This means you have to complete all star objectives till you reach Xuchang. Wen Yang will then arrive and will talk about his father's actions. Speak to him to unlock the Hypothetical Route.
Stage 9 X - Capture of Chengdu
*Difficulty of getting star objective = 2/5
*Objective
1. Defeating Liu Shan after first defeating all of the enemies will enable the stage 'Defeat the Rebels' to be unlocked.
TIP - Another easy objective to complete. Just follow the missions correctly but you have to personally defeat Jiang Wei as this will trigger the appearance of Guan Suo and Guan Yinping. Failing to defeat him personally will not unlock you the stage 'Defeat the Rebels'.
Stage 9 X2 - Defeat the Rebels
*Difficulty of getting star objective = 2/5
*Objective
1. Winning the battle will enable Zhong Hui to arrive during the stage 'Defend Chengdu' as reinforcements.
TIP - Another easy objective. Just follow the missions correctly and you will definitely unlock the star. This stage is pretty funny because of Zhang Chunhua's nasty/bitchy dialogues!
